Xavier is its AI companion. It asks where you want to go, when, your budget, how much you have done before, what you want to do, how much comfort you want, and what you drive. Then it builds you a mapped Xpedition. Today you can plan a trip, map it, save it, edit it, share it, and navigate to its stops. Booking tools and more navigation features are being added over time.
What is an Xpedition?
An Xpedition is a day-by-day outdoor plan that Xavier builds for you. It puts your route, driving legs, activities, trailheads, campsites, stays, meals, restock stops, local services, and navigation points on one map.
How does Xavier plan a multi-day outdoor trip?
Xavier plans a multi-day trip through a simple conversation. It asks where you start, where you are headed, your dates, your budget, how much you have done before, the pace you like, what you want to do, how much comfort you want, and how you are getting there. It turns your answers into an Xpedition with a route that makes sense, a plan for each day, mapped stops, and the details that hold a trip together.
Can Xavier book lodging, guides, activities, or gear rentals?
Not today. Xavier does not book anything for you. It can help you find stays, guides, activities, gear rentals, rides, and other local services that fit your route and what you like. Once you have booked something yourself, you can keep the details and confirmation numbers in the booking log, attached to the Xpedition they belong to. Xavier booking on your behalf is planned, and it would only ever happen with your explicit approval.
How is Xploreum different from an AI trip planner?
Xploreum is built for outdoor and adventure travel, not travel in general. Most AI trip planners hand you a wall of text. Xavier gives you a day-by-day Xpedition on a map you can actually use. The aim is to close the gap between planning a trip and taking it, by holding the route, the logistics, the local services, the booking tools, and the navigation in one place.
Is Xploreum free?
You can use Xavier to build and save an Xpedition for free. The full plan stays locked until you join Xplorer Pro. Pro opens the whole Xpedition, so you can see every detail, edit the plan, share it with others, and navigate to its stops.
How much does Xplorer Pro cost?
Xplorer Pro is $14.99 a month or $99 a year. The yearly plan works out to $8.25 a month and saves 45 percent against paying monthly for a year. Both are charged right away. There is no free trial at the moment.
What types of trips can Xavier plan?
Xavier plans hiking trips, backpacking trips, camping trips, overlanding routes, scenic road trips, and other multi-day trips outdoors. It helps most when the pieces have to line up: the drive, the trailheads, the campsites, the stays, the activities, the meals, the restock stops, the rentals, and the local rides.
