Xploreum is an AI platform for outdoor and adventure travel. Its AI companion, Xavier, turns a trip idea into a day-by-day Xpedition with an organized itinerary, mapped stops, and linked driving or hiking legs. You describe where you are starting, your dates and number of days, group size, preferred travel style, fitness level, budget and currency, and vehicle. Xavier asks for any missing details, shows a short trip summary for you to confirm, and builds the journey one day at a time. You review and confirm each day before it moves to the next.

You can then save the Xpedition. A free account keeps the saved plan locked, while Xplorer Pro opens the full saved itinerary and its planning tools. Xploreum is not an offline navigation app and does not book reservations for you.

First, Xavier checks seven pieces of information: your starting point, your dates and number of days, group size, trip style, fitness or activity level, budget with currency, and vehicle. It asks about missing inputs, but does not repeat questions you already answered. It shows a trip summary card. Once you select "Looks perfect, build it!", it gives a short overview and builds Day 1.

Each completed day is summarized with its planned travel and hiking distance, elevation, estimated cost, and overnight location. You confirm that day before Xavier builds the next. The next day starts at the previous day's overnight stop, which keeps the itinerary connected. To change a stop, name its number, for example "change 2.3", and confirm the revised day again.

Xavier begins planning after you confirm your trip summary, then builds the Xpedition one day at a time. You review each day's stops, distances, estimated costs, and overnight location before confirming and continuing. Timing varies with trip length, routing, and your edits. We do not promise that a complete multi-day plan appears instantly or in under a minute.

Yes. You can give your starting point, dates and trip length, group size, travel style, fitness level, budget with currency, and vehicle in one message. Xavier will not ask you to repeat what you already told it. You still confirm the trip summary and each planned day before moving on.

No. Xavier can suggest stops and organize them into an itinerary, but it does not confirm live campsite availability, issue permits, verify road closures or station opening hours, or calculate the fuel range of your vehicle. Confirm these details with land managers, reservation providers, and fuel stations before you leave. Where mapping cannot return a routed leg, a straight line may appear. Never treat that line as a drivable or hikeable route.

Xavier plans hiking trips, backpacking trips, camping trips, overlanding routes, scenic road trips, and other multi-day trips outdoors. It helps most when the pieces have to line up: the drive, the trailheads, the campsites, the stays, the activities, the meals, the restock stops, the rentals, and the local rides.

Yes. Xavier builds trips for people who are new to this as well as people who have done it for years. It takes into account how experienced you are, how hard you want the trip to be, how much comfort you want, your budget, how you are getting there, and what you want out of it.

An Xpedition is a day-by-day outdoor plan that Xavier builds for you. It puts your route, driving legs, activities, trailheads, campsites, stays, meals, restock stops, local services, and navigation points on one map.

While you are planning with a free account, you can review the days and ask Xavier to change stops before saving. When you save the Xpedition, it stays in your account but opens in a locked view on the free plan. Basic details such as the title, destination, and dates stay visible. The full map, itinerary, and booking log open with Xplorer Pro.

An unfinished Xpedition has a different rule. An In Progress draft is deleted after 30 days without activity, and you get a reminder on day 23.

Yes. A free account can save Xpeditions permanently, and there is no limit today on how many it can save. Saved trips open locked until you join Xplorer Pro. Xplorer Pro does not sell extra save slots: it unlocks the complete Xpeditions you save, and lets you edit and share them after saving.

Before saving, anyone planning with a free account can ask Xavier to revise stops during the day-by-day conversation. A changed day is confirmed again. After saving, reopening the Xpedition to edit it takes Xplorer Pro. With Pro, you can reopen a saved trip with Xavier and ask for changes to the route, stops, activities, or where you sleep.

Yes, with Xplorer Pro. You can create a read-only link to a saved Xpedition. People who open it do not need an Xploreum account, and they do not see your private booking log. The link is for viewing, not for editing together or voting on changes.

Yes. Xavier can use your traveler profile, including your pace, travel style, and vehicle, to help shape future trips. This is not exclusive to Xplorer Pro: free accounts have it too. Pro is for unlocking and editing saved Xpeditions, sharing them, and using the connected booking log.

No. You can describe a trip, confirm the trip summary, and build Day 1 without an account. You need a free account to continue to Day 2 or to save the Xpedition.

You can start planning without an account and build Day 1. With a free account, you can build the whole day-by-day itinerary, make changes before saving, and save the Xpedition permanently. After saving, the detailed itinerary and map open in a locked view. Xplorer Pro unlocks the saved plan and adds editing after saving, sharing, and the booking log. There is no free trial of Pro.

New subscribers pay $79 a year for Xplorer Pro, and it renews at $79 a year. You pay when you subscribe. This is not an introductory price, and there is no signup deadline. There is no monthly plan for new subscribers and no free trial.

Members who joined earlier keep the plan and price they signed up with, unless it is changed separately. Your Stripe checkout or billing portal shows the exact terms for your account.

Xplorer Pro opens every saved Xpedition, so you can see the full itinerary and map, reopen a saved trip with Xavier to edit it, and create a read-only share link. The person you share with can see the trip without an account, but cannot edit it or see your private booking log. Pro also opens the booking log, where you record the status, confirmation code, booking link, and notes for bookings you make yourself. On mobile, you can hand a single stop to Apple Maps or Google Maps.

Xploreum does not have its own turn-by-turn navigation or offline maps. Saving trips and Xavier's memory of your preferences are not Pro-only.

Yes. Open Profile and follow the link to the Stripe billing portal to manage or cancel your subscription. Your Pro access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. The billing portal shows your exact renewal date and terms.

Do not count on them yet. PDF and GPX export is not available to every account today, so check for an Export option on your saved Xpedition in the web app before you plan a departure around one. Xploreum does not provide offline maps, and a trip document is not a map you can navigate with.

More features are in development. The vehicle Garage, the Equipment Closet, Community, and Gear Deal Alerts are not live yet. Help with bookings is also planned: today, Xavier does not make bookings or obtain permits. We will announce availability and access terms for each feature when it is released.

Not today. Xavier can organize possible stops and services in your Xpedition, but it cannot make reservations, check live campsite availability, check permit availability, obtain permits, or take payment. You make those arrangements with the operator or land manager. Xplorer Pro has a booking log where you record the status, confirmation code, booking link, and notes for each arrangement, permits included.

The booking log is a record you keep for your Xpedition. You enter the booking status, a confirmation code, a booking link, and notes for reservations you made yourself, including permits and meals. It does not create reservations, import confirmations from providers, or check availability. Your booking log is not included in the read-only share link.

The Garage is an AI-powered vehicle builder and tracker we are still building. The idea is to help Xavier understand what you drive, so it can use that when it plans outdoor trips and overlanding Xpeditions.

The Equipment Closet is an Xplorer Pro feature we are still building. It will let you organize your gear, get AI gear advice, and build wish lists. It will help Xavier work out what you already own and what you still need.

Xperts are local outdoor providers who help you pull the trip off. They include lodge owners, outdoor guides, mountain guides, gear outfitters, activity providers, cooks, and bush pilots. Xavier helps you find the ones who fit where you are going, what you are doing, and what you need.

Xploreum organizes your itinerary on a map, but it does not provide offline topographic maps or its own turn-by-turn navigation. On mobile, Xplorer Pro can hand one selected stop to Apple Maps or Google Maps. For remote travel, prepare a separate navigation app and the offline maps you need. A line drawn between places may be a straight-line fallback when road or trail routing fails, so check the actual route yourself.

There is no automatic sync with Gaia GPS. If an Export option appears on your saved Xpedition in the web app, you can download a GPX file and import it into Gaia GPS by hand. Export is not available to every account today, so do not assume the button is there. Either way, check the imported waypoints and tracks, and prepare the detailed map and route for field navigation separately.

No. Xavier is an AI companion for outdoor travel. It is not a stand-in for a trained guide, an emergency service, or a park authority. Check permits, weather, trail conditions, road closures, fire rules, and safety needs with official sources before you leave.

Xploreum focuses on outdoor and adventure travel. Xavier turns your conversation into a day-by-day Xpedition with mapped stops, activities, stays, local services, and the details you need to organize your trip.

The aim is to connect planning with the journey itself by bringing routes, logistics, your own booking details, and navigation stops together. Additional booking and navigation tools are being developed.

No. Trip planning is where we start, not where we stop. Xploreum is building one place to plan, map, book, organize, and navigate an adventure. Some of the booking and navigation tools are still being built and will arrive over time.
