Every Xploreum policy in one place: the agreement between us, how we handle your data, what we expect from the community, and how payments and refunds flow.
Xploreum is a platform for outdoor and adventure travel. Xplorers plan trips with Xavier and take them; Thrillmasters list and lead Xpeditions; Xperts are the local guides, outfitters, and providers who help a trip happen. The documents below set out what each side agrees to. They are the operative versions, and each one carries the date it last changed.
Which document applies to you
- If you are planning and taking trips
- The Xplorer Terms and Conditions are the agreement between you and Xploreum. The Payment Terms cover how charges, refunds, and disputes work, and the Adventure Safety Guidelines cover what to check and carry before you head out.
- If you are leading trips as a Thrillmaster
- The Thrillmaster Terms and Conditions govern listing and operating Xpeditions on the Platform, and the Thrillmaster Code of Conduct sets the standards expected of anyone leading them.
- How your data and your content are handled
- The Privacy Policy covers what we collect and why, the Cookie Policy covers cookies and similar technologies, and the Content Ownership and Licensing Policy covers the rights in anything you submit or capture through the Platform.
- What is expected of everyone
- The Acceptable Use Policy sets the restrictions on content and conduct across the Platform. The Editorial Standards explain how the articles published on this site are researched, reviewed, and corrected.
