Our mission is to make outdoor adventure more accessible by making it easier for people to discover, plan, and experience the outdoors.

We believe an adventure can be a day close to home, a weekend somewhere unfamiliar, or a longer journey you have wanted to take for years. What matters is finding an experience that feels meaningful and achievable for you.

We are a small team building Xploreum around that idea. We want to help people feel more confident taking the first step, make thoughtful choices about their trips, and develop a stronger connection with the places they visit.

We started Xploreum because we experienced the planning frustration ourselves.

We wanted to explore more, but turning an idea into a trip meant moving between searches, maps, recommendations, saved links, and conversations. Finding interesting places was only part of the work. We still had to decide what belonged in the same trip, how to organize each day, and which details needed more attention.

We wanted a more natural way to work through those decisions.

That led us to Xavier: a companion you can talk to as your ideas take shape, with a plan you can review and refine along the way.

Perhaps you are looking for something to do this weekend. Perhaps you have a destination in mind but do not know where to start. Perhaps your friends have shared plenty of ideas, and you need to bring them into a clearer plan.

Xploreum is for people who want to make more room for the outdoors, whether they are beginning to explore or already planning their next trip.

Your interests, available time, and travel preferences give the conversation its starting point. You can ask questions, consider different ideas, and shape an Xpedition around what matters to you.

Xavier is the conversational part of Xploreum.

Tell Xavier what you have in mind. You might describe a destination, the activities you enjoy, the time you have available, or the kind of experience you are looking for.

From there, Xavier helps you develop your ideas into an Xpedition. You build the plan one day at a time, review the suggested places and stops, and make changes through conversation.

An Xpedition is your trip plan within Xploreum. It brings the suggested itinerary and its mapped places together so you can see how the days are taking shape.

• Explore ideas with Xavier. Describe what you are looking for and get suggestions to help you decide where to begin.
• Build a day-by-day Xpedition. Organize suggested activities, places to stay, and stops into a trip plan.
• See planned places on a map. Review where the suggested stops are located as you work through your itinerary.
• Refine the plan through conversation. Ask Xavier to adjust suggestions as your preferences and plans develop.
• Save and share your Xpeditions. Return to saved trip plans. With Xplorer Pro, open the full plan and share a read-only link with others.

The current planning experience is the foundation. The following features describe our development work and future direction. They are not available today as complete, released features.

PDF and GPX exports

The Garage is our vision for organizing information about your adventure vehicle and its setup.

Over time, we want vehicle profiles to play a more useful role in trip preparation, helping people think through how their vehicle and the journey fit together.

The Equipment Closet

The Equipment Closet would give you a place to organize the gear you own, build wish lists, and prepare for future adventures.

Our goal is to make equipment planning feel connected to the trips you want to take.

More connected outdoor information

We want to bring more authoritative outdoor information into the planning process, including information relevant to access, permits, seasonal restrictions, and conditions.

This work is intended to help people identify what needs checking and find useful sources as they prepare.

Our vision includes better ways for people to discover local expertise and for outdoor businesses to present what they offer. Planned provider tools, including Partner Pro, are part of that direction.

Booking assistance with your approval

We are also interested in making the step from planning to arranging a trip easier.

Any future booking or payment assistance would be designed around your explicit approval before a reservation or payment is made.

We will announce availability as features are released. Roadmap descriptions explain our direction without committing to a launch date.

The people who know a place can change the way you experience it.

Local guides, outfitters, and outdoor businesses bring knowledge shaped by time spent in the places they work. We want that knowledge to have a meaningful place in Xploreum as the platform develops.

Supporting local expertise is part of our broader purpose: helping people explore with greater intention, learn from the communities they visit, and respect the places that make those experiences possible.

Xploreum was founded by Armin Monajemi, co-founder and CEO, and Hadis Hesabi, co-founder and CTO. Our team works from San Francisco and Montréal.

Armin leads Xploreum as CEO. Hadis leads the technology behind the platform, including its AI architecture, planning systems, and product infrastructure.

Hadis brings a background in artificial intelligence, optimization, robotics, and automation. That experience shapes how we approach the practical work of turning complex planning decisions into a product people can use.

We are building Xploreum with a small team and a shared belief that thoughtful technology can help people spend more time experiencing the world around them.

Good preparation includes understanding the limits of the information you are using.

Xavier can help you develop a plan. Before setting out, confirm current access, permits, weather, closures, and local requirements with the relevant authorities or operators. Consider the suitability of each activity for your experience, equipment, and circumstances.

Xploreum does not currently make reservations on your behalf or provide native offline maps.

We encourage people to respect local guidance, support the communities they visit, and care for the places they explore.

Alongside the product, we publish outdoor planning guides and comparisons to help people understand their options and prepare more thoughtfully.
